Calgary Hitmen 7 Prince Albert 1

Collin Bowman fired his first career hat trick leading the Calgary Hitmen to a 7-1 home ice win over the Prince Albert Raiders.

The win moves Calgary over .500 for the first time this season improving their record to 10-9-1-1.

Brady Brassart, Trevor Cheek, Jimmy Bubnick and Spencer Humphries also scored for Calgary.

The Raiders started the game with four straight powerplay chances, but the Hitmen killed them all anchored by strong defence and a few brilliant saves from Brandon Glover.

Calgary will now have less than 24 hours to prepare for their final game of a four game home stand when they welcome the CHL's #6 ranked Saskatoon Blades.  Game time Sunday is 2:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
