Calgary at Saskatoon

The Calgary Hitmen (12-10-1-1) are in Saskatoon tonight to face the Blades (18-6-0-1).  Calgary is tied with Regina for eighth in the Eastern Conference with 26 points while Saskatoon is tied with Kootenay for number one overall with 37 points.  The Hitmen are coming off Wednesday's 5-2 win in Moose Jaw while the Blades posted a 4-3 home ice shootout win Tuesday over the Medicine Hat Tigers.  Internet Broadcast on starts at 6:00pm MST.

Saskatoon is a perfect 2-0 against the Hitmen this season but have been outshot by a combined 81-60.  Tonight is their third of four regular season meetings.  Josh Nicholls (1g 3a), Matej Stransky (1g 3a) and Michael Burns (4a) all have four points each against the Hitmen while Cody Sylvester (2g 1a) and Jimmy Bubnick (1g 2a) both have three points against Saskatoon. 
- Nov 1 in Saskatoon:  Blades 4 Hitmen 1.  Andrey Makarov made 39 saves in a first star performance.
- Nov 20 in Calgary: Blades 6 Hitmen 5.  Lukas Sutter scored twice including the game winner.

BLADES BANTER:  Saskatoon is ranked #4 in the Canadian Hockey League Top 10 this week.  The Blades are riding an eight game winning streak and are a perfect 10-0 at Credit Union Centre this season, the only team in the WHL without a home ice loss.  Dating back to last season, Saskatoon has won 42 of their last 46 games at home.

HITMEN HEADLINES:  The Hitmen have won two straight, but enter tonight having picked up points in five straight road games (4-0-1-0).  Calgary has scored 37 goals in their last seven games for an average of 5.3 per game.
