Sylvester gets the "C"

For the first time since the 2007/08 season there won't be Co-captains on the Calgary Hitmen.  19-year-old centre Cody Sylvester has been given the captaincy.
He will wear the letter full time and is joined by three alternates: Brooks Macek, Spencer Humphries and Jimmy Bubnick.
Sylvester is in his fourth season with the Hitmen.  His resume includes Rookie of the Year honours as a 16-year-old and the Petro-Canada Player of the Year award last season.
He's a tireless worker on the ice and shows a team first approach off the ice whether it be by volunteering his time at community events or sliding back from forward to play defence when called upon.  He also has the respect of his teammates.
