Glover tops all WHL goalies in November

CALGARY, AB. – The Western Hockey League announced today that Brandon Glover, of the Calgary Hitmen, has been named the VAUGHN WHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
The 19-year-old goaltender posted a 6-1 record through November.  Glover’s 1.96 goals-against average and 0.933 save percentage led all WHL goaltenders in November, allowing just 13 goals on 193 shots-against in 398 minutes played, averaging close to 30 shots a game.
Glover’s consistent play helped the Hitmen post a 9-4-1-0 record through November and now found themselves with 14-10-1-1 overall record for 30 points, just five back of the WHL Central Division 2nd place Edmonton Oil Kings.  His efforts also earned him a Three Star selection in three of his seven games played.
Glover, a Victoria, BC native, is in his third full season in the Western Hockey League, second with the Calgary Hitmen.  The Moose Jaw Warriors originally drafted Glover in the 6th round of the 2007 WHL Draft.
His accomplishments make Brandon Glover a deserving choice as the VAUGHN WHL Goaltender of the Month for November.
