Calgary at Lethbridge

The Calgary Hitmen (17-13-1-1) visit the Lethbridge Hurricanes (11-22-0-1) tonight in a Central Division match up.  Radio Broadcast on Sportnet960 The Fan starts at 7:00 p.m.  The Hitmen have won two straight and are coming off Sunday's 4-3 home ice win over the Brandon Wheat Kings.  The Hurricanes enter tonight playing their best hockey of the season having won eight of their last 12 including their last outing, a 4-2 win in Vancouver on Saturday.

Tonight is the third of six regular season meetings between the two teams.  The season series is tied 1-1 with the home team a perfect 2-0 so far.  Alex Gogolev leads Calgary with (3g 3a) six points against Lethbridge while Jay Merkley (2g 1a), Brody Sutter (2g 1a) and Cam Braes (1g 2a) all have three points against the Hitmen.

-Nov. 13 in Calgary:  Hitmen 6 Hurricanes 2.  Alex Gogolev 2g 2a.

Calgary enters the contest tied for seventh in the Eastern Conference with Regina at 36 points.  Lethbridge is 12th with 23 points.  The Hitmen are 9-7-1-0 in enemy buildings while the Hurricanes are 7-11-0-0 on home ice.

STREAKIN':  Three Hitmen have points in back-to-back games: Collin Bowman (1g 1a), Victor Rask (2a) and Greg Chase (2a).  Peter Kosterman is +4 in his last five games.  For Lethbridge Cam Braes is red hot taking a nine game point streak into tonight (9g 5a).  Russell Maxwell (2g 1a) and Jaimen Yakubowski (3g) both have points in back-to-back games.

HITMEN ALUMNUS:  Brandon Kozun is in the AHL with the Manchester Monarchs.  The 21-year-old right winger has 12 points (7g 5a) in 26 games.  The Los Angeles Kings prospect also has 45 shots on goal.

GAME TIME CHANGE:  A reminder Friday's Hitmen home game against the Regina Pats has been pushed back one hour.  It's now an 8:00 p.m. start at Scotiabank Saddledome.
