Hitmen use shootout to edge Blades

Greg Chase scored once in regulation and once in the shootout lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Jesse Zgraggen and Brady Brassart also scored for Calgary who saw the Blades overcome deficits of 1-0 and 3-1 to force overtime.

Chase and Brassart both added a pair of assists to lead all Hitmen with three points each.

Mack Shields made 35 saves plus three more in the shootout to pick up the win.

The win improves the Hitmen record to 6-3-0-1 as the teams wraps up their three game home stand picking up five of a possible six points.

Five of their next six games are now on the road starting Saturday night in Red Deer.
