Hitmen rally to beat Rebels

The Calgary Hitmen scored four unanswered goals in a 5-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels Saturday night at Enmax Centrium.

Elliott Peterson paced the Hitmen attack scoring twice and setting up another for a team leading three points.

Jake Virtanen, Jaynen Rissling and Colby Harmsworth also scored for Calgary who trailed 2-1 after the first period.

For Harmsworth it was his first career goal in the Western Hockey League while Linden Penner drew an assist for his first career point.

Calgary won the special teams battle going 2-5 on the powerplay while killing all seven Rebels chances.

Chris Driedger made 25 saves to pick up the victory in goal.

The win improves the Hitmen record to 7-3-0-1 including a 4-0-0-1 mark in their last five games.
