Lethbridge 2 Calgary 1

Ty Rimmer made 36 saves in a first star performance on the road as the Lethbridge Hurricanes edged the Calgary Hitmen 2-1 Friday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Brady Ramsay in the first period and Sam McKechnie in the second period provided all the offence the visitors would need.

Brooks Macek, with a late third period powerplay marker, was the only Hitmen to beat Rimmer on this night.
