Calgary 6 Kootenay 1

Greg Chases scored a pair of goals for the second straight game lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 6-1 win over the Kootenay Ice Tuesday night in Cranbrook.

Pavlo Pakakin, Victor Rask, Carson Samoridny and Brooks Macek also scored for Calgary who completed a home-and-home sweep of the Ice.

Cody Sylvester and Brady Brassart both chipped in a pair of assists for the Hitmen who scored six unanswered goals after Kyle O'Connor opened the scoring for the Ice.

Making his first start in seven games, Mack Shields made 30 saves to pick up the win.
