Calgary 4 Tri-City 1

The Calgary Hitmen extended their winning streak to six games with a 4-1 home ice win over the Tri-City Americans Sunday afternoon. 

The Hitmen scored four unanswered goals, including two second period markers 29 seconds apart.

Brady Brassart, Danny Gayle, Alex Gogolev and Chase Clayton each scored for Calgary while Collin Bowman led the Hitmen with three assists.  Brian Williams had the lone goal for Tri-City who opened the scoring early in the second period. 

Chris Driedger made 16 saves against his former team to record his sixth win in as many starts for a season total of 15.  Ty Rimmer made 31 saves in the loss.

The Hitmen are now 31-17-2-1 on the season.  At 65 points, Calgary moves into third in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of fourth place Medicine Hat and three points behind second place Moose Jaw.

Tri-City drops to 35-12-1-1.
