Calgary 2 Kelowna 1

Calgary, AB - Victor Rask broke a 1-1 third period tie at the 8:48 mark lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 2-1 win over the Kelowna Rockets Sunday evening at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Jimmy Bubnick, on a power play opportunity, also scored for Calgary while Danny Gayle, Alex Roach and Alex Gogolev each picked up an assist helping the Hitmen to their third straight win over Kelowna this season.

Brett Bulmer had the lone Rockets goal.

Brandon Glover made 26 saves for Calgary to record his 18th win of the season.

The Hitmen, now 37-23-2-1, move into fourth in the Eastern Conference with 77 points, one ahead of the Kootenay Ice.
Calgary returns to action on Wednesday night to host the Swift Current Broncos in a Leap Day game.
