Sam Reinhart broke a 4-4 third period tie with 4:05 remaining lifting the Kootenay Ice to a 5-4 win over the Calgary Hitmen Saturday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.
Brady Brassart scored twice for the Hitmen while Zane Jones and Calder Brooks added singles in the regular season finale for both teams.
The loss snapped Calgary's six game winning streak but also saw the Hitmen rest five veteran players in advance of the playoffs.
