Hitmen 6 Ice 3

The Calgary Hitmen wrapped up the 2013-14 WHL regular season by completing a home-and-home sweep of Kootenay with a 6-3 win over the Ice Saturday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Edmonton Oilers prospect Greg Chase paced the Calgary scoring attack with two goals and two assists to finish in a tie for the team lead in scoring with Brady Brassart at 85 points.

Mike Winther and Pavel Padakin both had a goal and two assists for the Hitmen while Ben Thomas and Jake Virtanen also scored for Calgary.

The Hitmen finish the season with a record of 48-17-3-4, good for 103 points and the third seed in the Eastern Conference Standings.
