The Calgary Hitmen made their fourth straight trip into extra time and left with a 5-4 shootout win Friday night at Rexall Place over the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Greg Chase scored the shootout winner in a game that saw Calgary let leads of 2-0 and 3-2 get away but also saw the Hitmen overcome a 4-3 deficit.
Calgary is now 5-0-1-1 on the season and an impressive 3-0 against the defending WHL Champion Oil Kings.
