Jaynen Rissling stars in a Hitmen comeback win over Kootenay

Jaynen Rissling had a career night scoring twice, including the game winner in overtime lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 OT win over the Kootenay Ice Friday night at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Rissling entered the season having scored five goals in each of the last three season but the big defenceman already has three goals in four games to start the season.

"I recently switch my curve since I came back so I'm shooting the puck a lot more now and things are working, said Rissling after his first star performance.

Greg Chase forced sudden death for Calgary scoring the tying goal with 5:34 remaining to extend his goal scoring streak to four games.

Brady Brassart also scored for the Hitmen who got a three assist performance from Radel Fazleev who counted his first points in the WHL since joining the Hitmen in the summer through the CHL Import draft from Russia.

The two teams meet again Saturday night in Cranbrook in the rematch.  You can catch on Sportsnet 960 The Fan starting at 7pm
