After adding to their depth on defence prior to the deadline with the addition of 19-year-old defenceman Jesse Zgraggen the Calgary Hitmen added to their forward depth on WHL Trade Deadline Day acquiring 19-year-old left winger Colten Mayor from the Regina Pats.
In return the Hitmen send to the Pats 18-year-old right winger Carson Samoridny and a fourth round pick in the 2013 Bantam Draft.
Mayor is expected to be given a shot at a spot in the top six, potentially on a line with Victor Rask
In 201 career regular season games in both Red Deer and Regina Mayor has 84 points (36g 48a).
