Calgary 5 Kootenay 1

The Calgary Hitmen will get a lot of practice ice this week with their next game not until Friday when they visit the defending WHL Champion Oil Kings in Edmonton.  One night later they return to the 'Dome to host Red Deer.

The Hitmen are 2-0 after the opening weekend grabbing a pair of wins including a 5-1 triumph over the visiting Kootenay Ice in the Adrenaline Source for Sports home opener Saturday night.

Zane Jones, who's uncle is Lanny MacDonald, scored twice in the win.  Cody Sylvester, Brooks Macek and Darian Henry added singles.  For Henry it was his first goal in the Western Hockey League.
