Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen fell 5-2 to the Lethbridge Hurricanes Wednesday evening at Scotiabank Saddledome.  

Victor Rask and Trevor Cheek scored for Calgary while Jaimen Yakubowski, Russell Maxwell, Graham Hood, Sam Mckechnie and Jamal Watson each netted one for the visitors. 

The Hitmen outshot the Hurricanes 39-30 in the loss.

Brandon Glover replaced Chris Driedger in the middle frame. Driedger made 12 saves for Calgary while Glover stopped 13-of-14 shots.

Calgary remains fourth in the Eastern Conference with 87 points, trailing third place Medicine Hat by two points while leading fifth place Regina by five.

The Hitmen wrap up the regular season with a home-and-home series against the Kootenay Ice starting

Friday, March 16 in Cranbrook and concluding Saturday, March 17 at the Scotiabank Saddledome.  Puck drop is 7:00 p.m. for the Fan Appreciation Game.  Radio broadcast on Sportsnet 960 The FAN begins at 7:00 p.m.
