The Calgary Hitmen (43-25-2-1) host the Kootenay Ice (36-25-6-4) tonight in the regular season finale for both clubs. Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
VS. KOOTENAY: Tonight is the eighth and final regular season meeting. Kootenay leads the season series having won five of the seven meetings, outscoring Calgary by a combined 24-15. Brooks Macek (2g 3a), Victor Rask (2g, 3a) and Alex Gogolev (1g 4a) all have five points each to lead the Hitmen in the season series. Brock Montgomery tops all Ice with 10 points (1g, 9a) against Calgary while goaltender Nathan Lieuwen sports a 2.00 goals against average and a .928 save percentage stopping 180 of 194 shots. Lieuwen is also third in the WHL with a 2.49 goals against average.

-Oct. 2 in CAL: Hitmen 4 Ice 2. Calgary erased a 2-1 third period deficit. Victor Rask and Danny Gayle led the Hitmen scoring attack with two points (1g, 1a) each.
-Oct. 23 in CAL: Ice 4 Hitmen 2. Kootenay jumped out to a 3-0 second period lead.
-Feb. 3 in KTN: Ice 2 Hitmen 1. Sam Reinhart scored the game winner, his second of the game, with just one second left in regulation.
-Feb. 12 in CAL: Ice 4 Hitmen 0. Nathan Lieuwen made 26 saves to record his third shutout of the season.
-March 3 in KTN: Ice 2 Hitmen 1. Nathan Lieuwen made 24 saves.
-March 17 in KTN: Hitmen 6 Ice 5 OT. Hitmen overcame a 4-0 first period deficit.
