The Calgary Hitmen will have lots to celebrate during the Christmas Break as they will enjoy all nine days as leaders of the Western Hockey League Eastern Conference.
The Hitmen booked their ticket into the penthouse with a 6-3 win over the Regina Pats on Tuesday night.
Calgary jumped out to a 6-0 lead en-route to victory scoring twice on the powerplay and also twice shorthanded.
Greg Chase led the scoring parade with a pair of goals while Radel Fazleev had three assists.
The Hitmen have now picked up at least a point in 10 straight games (9-0-1) to improve their record to 22-7-2-3.
Calgary is back on WHL ice December 27th in Red Deer before hosting Edmonton on December 28th
