Joshua Winquist scored his 21st goal of the season on a second period powerplay as the Everett Silvertips blanked the Calgary Hitmen 1-0 at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday.
Goalie Austin Lotz made 25 saves for his third shutout of the season and fourth of his WHL career.
Sixteen of those stops came in the third period when the Hitmen outshot Everett 16-3.
The loss snapped Calgary's three game winning streak while the victory improves the Silvertips WHL leading points total to 42.
