Two Hitmen catch NHL eye

NHL Central Scouting has released their mid-term rankings for the 2013 NHL Entry Draft with two members of the Calgary Hitmen cracking the list.

Forward Greg Chase, in his second season with the Hitmen, is ranked 94th among North American Skaters.  The 17-year-old from Sherwood Park, Alberta has 29 points (12g 17a) in 43 games this season and is a plus seven.

Mack Shields is ranked 28th among North American goalies.  The netminder from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is 6-3-0-1 in his rookie season with a 3.16 goals against average and a .891 save percentage.

Chase, Shields and the rest of the Hitmen return to action Friday night at home against Prince George.  Game time is 7:00 p.m. at Scotiabank Saddledome.
