Calgary 4 Brandon 3

Brady Brassart broke a 3-3 third period tie scoring the game winner on a powerplay with 1:50 remaining lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Brassart's goal gave the Hitmen their first lead of the day as they battled back from three one goal deficit's trailing 1-0, 2-1 and 3-2.

Trevor Cheek scored twice for Calgary, including once shorthanded.  Alex Gogolev also scored for the Hitmen who outshot Brandon 41-25.

Calgary has now won two straight to improve to 17-13-1-1.

The club also announced today they've trimmed their roster to 22 by re-assigning defenceman Keaton Lubin to a yet to be determined team.
