Hitmen extend streak to nine games

The Calgary Hitmen have now picked up points in nine straight games (8-0-1-0) following Sunday's 5-2 home ice win over the Swift Current Broncos.

Kenton Helgesen was named the first star topping all Hitmen with three points with a goal and two assists.  Helegesen was one of five different players to score for Calgary as Radel Fazleev, Travis Sanheim, Linden Penner, and Zane Jones also found the back of the net.

For Sanheim it was his first career goal in the Western Hockey League.

Calder Brooks had a pair of assists to continue his strong play of late extending his point streak to three games (4g 2a).

Chris Driedger made 24 saves to pick up the victory helping Calgary improve to 4-0 against the Broncos this season.
