Calgary 4 Swift Current 2

Pavlo Padakin scored twice, including once into an empty net, lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 4-2 home ice win over the Swift Current Broncos Sunday afternoon at Scotiabank Saddledome.

Peter Kosterman netted the game winner for the Hitmen breaking a 2-2 third period tie with 7:17 remaining.

The victory wraps up a successful four game home stand for Calgary which saw the club post a 3-1 record.  It also moves them back into first place in the WHL's Central Division, one point ahead of Edmonton and just a single point behind the Eastern Conference leading Prince Albert Raiders.

The Hitmen return to action Tuesday night when they open a home and home series with the Hurricanes in Lethbridge.
