Hitmen 6 Blades 5 OT

Alex Roach scored his second goal of the night, 11 seconds into overtime, lifting the Calgary Hitmen to a 6-5 win over the Saskatoon Blades.

Cal Babych, Pavel Padakin, Chase Lang and Greg Chase also scored for Calgary in a game that produced several lead changes. 

The Hitmen built a 2-0 first period advantage but then trailed 3-2 after 40 minutes. 

After Calgary pulled ahead in the third period, Saskatoon would eventually force overtime when Cameron Hebig netted the tying goal with 2:30 remaining. 

The Hitmen outshot the Blades 49-24.
